What you’ll do:
Primary responsibility of this role is to provide sustaining support to GEIS plants, resolve technical queries and execute Engineering Change Requests..  
It also requires to have strong communication skills, drive, strong engineering acumen with enthusiasm in the product sustaining arena. "    
1. Provide plant support to resolve plant issues including quality, manufacturing, tooling issues.
2. Resolve technical queries from plant , sales and supply chain.
3. Exeucte Engineering Change Requests 
4. Support product development / VAVE by developing mechanical CAD drawings + 3D models of electrical and mechanical components & capturing cost saving opportunities through sustaining projects.

Skills:

Skills:
1. Experience in sheet metal part design. Awareness of plastic parts, sheet metal manufacturing processes. 
2. Experience in working with manufacturing, quality, operstions teams to resolve their issues is an added advantage
3. Hands on experience on any CAD software, should have worked on parametric modeling, drawing detailing & Assembly build up (Solidworks & AutoCAD software experience will be an advantage).
4. Understanding of any Product lifecycle management tool like Enovia, SAP etc. ( Enovia exp. is desirable)
5. Understanding of GD&T principles & its application’s
6. Familiar with Tolerance stack up analysis.
7. Experience in Sustaining engineering is desirable (i.e. execution of ECN/ECR) and should have an understanding of the PLM lifecycle.
8. Concept building & Design thinking(Understanding of Six Sigma methodologies and Continuous improvement tools is a plus)
9. Understaning of Strength of Materials and strong mechanical basics.
