About role

SLB has an opening in Pune, India for Associate Software Engineer, who will be responsible for building and deploying the MDG requirements to ensure seamless data migrations and governance. Ensuring Data quality in SAP MDG with respect to the SAP ECC system will be a core responsibility. For this, we are looking for MDG Technical Analysts who have command over the technicalities in MDG to design and deploy Master data objects in the domain of Finance, Vendor, Customer and Material. In this role, they will refine the design and build the SAP MDG solution to match business requirements and provide thought leadership around the MDG design and integration into other streams.

Key responsibilities

• Support the ITT-SAP system
• Participate in the build phase of the project – Design and develop MDG & ABAP objects
• Quality control of the solution with the SAP solution architect
• Quality control of the code delivered by SI
• Unit test of the code delivered
• Transports reviews and prioritization

• Write technical specifications and architect the solution based on the functional requirements.

• Configuration rule-based Workflow

• SAP ERP knowledge (SAP modules Finance, SD or MM), especially master data knowledge is required
• SAP ALE/IDOC: Configuration & Development (regarding migration and data replication)
• Expertise in SAP ABAP(WRICEF) with OOPs programming
• SAP Authorization Concept
• SAP Data Services
• Follows the technical governance (standards and best practices)

Business

• Engage with internal stakeholders to capture MDG requirements,
• Work closely with conversion analysts, quality analysts and domain SMEs
• Work closely with internal stakeholders associated with IT.

Essential qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1 to 3 Yrs. Experience in implementing SAP MDG Solutions with version 8.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
