About the role

As a part of the ‘Enphase Experience Design’ team, this role is a critical for conceptualizing and executing impactful user experience thru well considered & appropriate UX design tools.

• Scripting compelling & meaningful UI/ UX experiences & build it for our products & solutions.
• Enable the company to get better customer engagement, and healthy bottom-line contribution thru pragmatic workplan & execution.
• Collaborate for Value creation | Engage with business & engineering stakeholders + counterparts to evolve & improvise the overall vision for into value added user experiences.
• Create insight driven value propositions for the customers | Actively seek the customer/ user insights to articulate the user centric value propositions.
• Build relationship with the stakeholders | Work closely with design focal/ lead and the counterparts in the PLM and Engg teams as applicable to get clear understanding on quality expectations.
• Manage the expectations | Work closely with the design team focal/ lead to deliver the agreed design deliverables in timely fashion and timely identify roadblocks and resolution plans & work as per the risk mitigation plan as identified.

What you will do

• Creative collaboration | Becoming a creative design team player actively engaging with the own design teams and relevant PLM + engg team/s for all the creative aspects.
• Cross-functional working with the design team focal and leads to translate the overall design vision into tangible & quality design solutions teams to identify the value creation possibilities and overall high-level business goals, objectives, and priorities.
• Engage with the design team leads for create multiple design options to expand and explore the overall design envelop & possibilities.
• Partner with the respective Design lead for realistic planning of the design deliverables, milestones, and quality.
• Design Management | Manage the qualitative and quantitative aspects of design output.
• Work as per the EPICS, STORIES, and the sprint plan with the design team focal/ lead.
• Seek clarity for the design deliverables, resources, quality expectations and schedule with design team focal/ lead.
• Attend all the design reviews with design lead and focal.
• Highlight change requests and scope creeps & inform the team focal/ lead for the suggestions on the reasonable resolution.
• Ensure maximum adherence to the sprint plans & report to the team focal about possible delays.
• Active hands-on work on the design tasks to understand & align with the overall design vision, conceptualize the enhanced IA, workflows & feature mixes, story boarding, wireframes, prototypes, etc
• Seeking feedback to improve quality | Raising the bar.
• Engage closely with the design team focal/ lead to improve the overall user experience. 
• Review the overall design work with the design team focal/ lead for overall output quality & work on the feedback on the improvement areas in a timely manner.
• Actively seek new micro + macro socio-economic & tech trends, new skills & share with the team as appropriately to trigger possible new explorations.

Who you are and what you bring

• Bachelors/master’s degree in design
• 0 to 3 years of experience in UI/UX design with exposure to both web and mobile applications.
• High familiarity & thorough understanding of core UX design principles and tools
• High familiarity of smooth design assets hand-offs, design QA process, etc.
• High proficiency in commonly used design & prototyping tools like Figma, XD, InVision, etc.
• Proactively seek clarity for the overall design direction and closely follow the written and verbal instructions to deliver design deliverables.
• Ability to work independently and proactively, seek feedback on the design work and improve on it.
• Team player and ability to collaborate with designers, product owners and engineering stakeholders.
• Excellent articulation & communication skills with engage in the design discussions.
• Strong persuasion skills to promote user centricity & advocate the design process.
• Trained from the leading design schools in the country.
• Exposure in Energy management and or Renewable energy domain and the familiarity with working on any embedded or telecom or hardware products.
• Exposure of working with international teams with diverse nationalities, ethnicities, workstreams
• Participation in extracurricular activities like national and international design competitions entries, design awards, speaking assignments in public seminars & events, patents ownership, articles publication, engagement with the academic circles & startup community.
• Keen & demonstrated aptitude for exploring new skills, techniques & tools.
