We are looking for a Front End Engineer with experience across the following technologies: JavaScript, React and Web Development. 

You will be a developer for an exciting and impactful 0 to 1 initiative. As a javascript engineer, you will use your knowledge and expertise to build reusable web and react components that can be used by millions of developers around the world. 

Each engineer shepherds one or multiple platforms forward, both internally within Auth0, and externally in the community. You will be working in a cross-functional team alongside the developer evangelist, onboarding, growth, dashboard, community, tooling, and SDK teams to provide the best developer experience for the technologies you own.

What you’ll be doing 

• Develop end to end comprehensive new reusable react components that integrate with SDKs and backend APIs. 
• Work closely with designers and product managers to understand and detail requirements
• Collaborate with engineers within and outside the team 
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, security hygiene etc. 
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability
• Troubleshooting and fixing issues with our components .

What you’ll bring to the role

• 2+ years of expertise in JavaScript
• 1+ years of expertise in React 
• You have experience building javascript-based web applications which were launched in production 
• Have an excellent understanding of JavaScript and the ecosystem. 
• Bring the right attitude to the team: ownership, accountability, attention to detail, and customer focus.
• A high bar for both code quality as well as quality of user experience.
• Proven ability to collaborate with others to drive initiatives forward.

And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following

• Knowledge or experience building web or react components
• Experience working in distributed teams and work environments.
• Experience building 0 to 1 applications
