Rupicard is a fintech startup based in Bengaluru that aims to democratize access to credit cards and design a credit card tailored for Bharat. We strive to make credit cards accessible to all, transcending geographical constraints and financial backgrounds. We actively support users in building and improving their credit scores, contributing to their holistic financial well-being.

Role Description:

We are looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will build robust and scalable web-based applications, solve high-level business and technical problems, and contribute to the design and architecture of our systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of new features and improvements while fostering a collaborative environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web-based applications.
• High-Level Design: Perform high-level design with guidance, including functional modeling and module breakdown.
• Performance Optimization: Conduct performance tuning and improvements in large-scale distributed systems.
• Architecture Improvement: Make incremental changes to architecture and perform impact analysis.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers and broader stakeholders to track project impacts and iterate on improvements.

Requirements:

• Experience: 0-3 years of experience in coding and solving large-scale problems.
• Educational Background: B.Tech in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent) from a tier-1 institute.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one general programming language (e.g., Java, Node.JS, Golang, Python, C, C++) and database experience (e.g., MySQL, NoSQL).
• Problem-Solving Ability: Strong desire and capability to solve complex and interesting real-world problems.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to share thoughts openly, listen intently, and accept constructive feedback.
• Location: Bellandur office, working 5 days a week.
