As a Software Developer specializing in Competitive Intelligence, you will play a pivotal role in gathering and analysing data from competitor websites and applications, refining data outputs, and contributing to the evolution of our backend systems. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to delve into frontend development tasks in the future.

The mission of competitive analysis team is to provide best-in-class competitive insights to the internal product teams and help them prioritize and beat the competition in various global markets. The role will provide an opportunity to be part of an important and priority workstream, and work with other developers and products analyst to build automated solutions to capture competitive data and insights

What Will You Do
 

• Build automated scripts to extract data and images from web and app platform.
• Innovate tools and techniques for streamlining data extraction processes.
• Analyze and compare extracted data to derive actionable insights.

Who You Are
 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related technical field required.
• Approximately 1 year of experience in Web Scraping or Crawling utilizing frameworks such as Scrapy, Selenium, Beautiful Soup, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with various crawling methods, concepts, and strategies to bypass Bot Detection techniques.
• Proficiency in working with different databases, ranging from RDBMS to SQL.
• Knowledge or experience in Web RestFul APIs/Microservices Development.
• Understanding of frontend development concepts and past experience on AWS is a plus.
• Self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Demonstrated passion for solving complex problems through logical and analytical thinking.
