Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Contribute to team efforts in enhancing the customer experience through technical innovation and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with team engineers to resolve product ambiguities.
• Build and improve MySQL offering for all business-critical workloads at Uber.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Go, C++, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with large-scale systems efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with any Database technologies such as MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, Redis, Cassandra, YugaByte, CockroachDB, Spanner, CosmosDB, RDS, and VectorDB
• Familiarity with distributed system concepts and experience in building robust control planes.
