Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

The candidate will be involved in designing and maintaining Applications. The person will also be working towards ensuring end-to-end delivery of Projects from Technical aspect, this will include interacting with partners, coordinating with different teams and ensuring the delivery is made on time.

Essential Responsibilities (Specific day-to-day responsibilities needed to achieve the objectives):

At least 1 year of software development experience using STL and medium to complex business logic using C++.
Participates in Sprint planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements.
Develops and integrates applications using VC++ as per written specifications so as to onboard new content onto LSEG products.
Develops software using focused software development processes, adhering to industry standards and software guidelines.
Supports resolution of customer queries by making changes to existing applications that generate/supply content to LSEG products.                    
Carries out Automated unit testing, ensuring application meets needs of client and business. 
Provide technical support to operations or other development teams.
Builds and maintains user documentation related to assigned components to ensure supportability.
Supports infrastructure related changes (server upgrades etc) by doing post change testing and ensuring no impact to content.
Works under direct supervision in performing maintenance on existing software products or straightforward software improvements.  
Makes suggestions for problem solutions or software improvements, which will typically be reviewed by a more senior developer. 
Implements solutions as directed within standards and with mentorship from more senior engineers.
Provides status updates for own scope of work within projects. 
Participates in internal team and status meetings.

PREFERRED Skills and Experience:

Experience in Agile.
Financial Domain knowledge

Working hours for this position will be anywhere between 11 AM to 11 PM IST , totalling to 9 hours shift.
