About the Job

The Lifetime Value Co. is on the lookout for a skilled Jr. Full Stack Engineer, with a solid understanding of vanilla JavaScript as well as backend web development languages like PHP, to join our dynamic team. This role will expose you to multiple technologies, particularly Codeigniter and MySQL, as well as Go/Hugo, so familiarity with these technologies is a plus but not a requirement! While the primary focus will be on developing and enhancing the front-end aspects of our data driven SEO projects, we have several content projects supporting LTV’s product offerings that require regular support and updates.

What You’ll Get to Do

• Be a part of the team that is responsible for both front-end and back-end development to support product innovation, rapid testing and feature implementation.
• Translate design concepts into responsive and interactive web interfaces.
• Engage in code reviews, share knowledge, and contribute to a continuous learning environment.
• Contribute ideas for continuous evolution of our stack and identify areas for improvement proactively.

What You Bring to the Table

• We are looking for students in their final year of university seeking an internship or entry-level opportunity, as well as recent graduates with up to two years of relevant full-stack experience.
• Basic understanding of how RESTful APIs work
• Prior experience with PHP, Javascript and/or CodeIgniter/Laravel
• Basic understanding of best practices for code development.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a "leave it better than you found it" mindset.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks, and to share knowledge with the team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
