As an Associate Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring the smooth flow of data and enabling efficient data analysis and reporting. You will work closely with our data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to implement data solutions that drive business insights and innovation. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design efficient data pipelines.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data integrity and reliability.
• Optimize and tune existing data pipelines for improved performance and scalability.
• Assist in designing and implementing data models and schemas to support analytical and reporting needs.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely resolution to ensure smooth data operations.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering to continuously improve our data infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications

Required 

• Bachelor's degree
• Information Technology, Computer Engineering
• 1-2 year of experience in data engineering
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
• Must be fluent in English
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

• Experience working with advertising platforms
• Working experience with AWS cloud services
