- Bengaluru

- 6 months, with a path to a full-time SDE I offer

- Java, Node, React

What you'll do

• Work on real, scoped pieces of features in claims, wallet, subscriptions, provider network or payments
• Design a small schema and API, walk your mentor through it, then build it
• Write tested Java (Spring Boot) code, plus the occasional React screen or Node endpoint
• Check the dashboard after your release and debug your own bugs first
• Shadow the on-call rotation
• Ship one feature end to end and present it to the team

What you get

• A named mentor, a weekly 1:1, and mid-point and end-of-internship reviews
• A real feature in production with your name on it
• A clear path to a full-time SDE I offer, based on performance

What we're looking for

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Engineering or a related field, and available for all 6 months
• Solid Java, data structures and algorithms, SQL, and CS fundamentals (OOP, concurrency, HTTP)
• Git and the habit of small, readable commits
• Basic understanding of Kafka, event-driven systems, and monitoring and observability
• Daily use of AI tools like Copilot, Claude or ChatGPT, and you can explain every line you ship
• Clear communication

Bonus points for

• A project that people other than you actually used
• Spring Boot, React, Node or TypeScript
• Docker, CI or cloud experience
• Something built with an LLM API
• Open-source work, competitive programming or a portfolio
• Any healthcare, insurance or fintech exposure

What we value (non-negotiable)

• High ownership: your work is yours until it's live and working, not until the PR merges
• Self-driven, direct and low-ego: you say "I don't know" quickly
• Fast, with a floor under it: you ship in days without skipping tests

How we hire

We care about fundamentals, design instinct and how fast you learn, not the length of your CV. Expect a coding round, a small design exercise (like a wallet top-up), a project deep-dive, and a conversation about how you learn and collaborate.
