About the Role

Fortive's HR Technology team is deploying Oracle HCM AI Agents across our global HR function — automating workflows for managers, HR professionals, and employees. As an intern on this team, you'll work directly on the configuration, testing, and documentation of Oracle AI Agents while gaining hands-on exposure to enterprise HR systems architecture, integrations, and AI governance. This is a high-visibility role ideal for students with a technical curiosity for AI-powered enterprise platforms.

What You'll Do

Oracle HCM AI Agent Testing & Configuration

• Support configuration and testing of Oracle AI Agents including Manager Concierge, HCM Professional Concierge, Personal Information Assistant, and Salary Change Agent.
• Execute structured test scenarios and log results in the HCM AI Testing Log; document pass/fail outcomes, edge cases, and recommended fixes.
• Review and validate AI agent system prompts against HR policy and data privacy standards.
• Assist in preparing agent readiness checklists for Works Council, Legal, and IT Security sign-off.

Oracle HCM Technical Support

• Assist with Oracle HCM Cloud configuration tasks — including HCM Data Loader (HDL) file preparation, Fast Formula basics, and Profile Options review.
• Draft functional documentation for HR workflows, business process flows, and configuration change records.

AI Governance & Documentation

• Help build and maintain AI governance artifacts including agent capability matrices, data privacy impact summaries, and Works Council briefing materials.
• Research Oracle Fusion AI best practices and contribute to internal knowledge-base documentation.
• Assist in creating PowerPoint and Word deliverables for AI steering committee and HR leadership updates.

What You Bring

Required

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources Technology, or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of HR processes or enterprise cloud applications.
• Comfort working with structured data (Excel, CSV files, SQL basics) and documenting technical workflows.
• Strong written communication — you can translate technical concepts into clear functional documentation.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Preferred 

• Prior exposure to Oracle HCM Cloud (any module: Core HR, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting) through coursework, certification, or prior internship.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts — especially conversational AI, prompt engineering, or LLM use cases in enterprise settings.
• Oracle HCM Cloud Foundations Associate certification (or in progress).
