Genpact is hiring for the role of Consultant Backend Developer - Java !

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design and develop RESTful APIsand backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable codefollowing best practices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, QA, and product teams for end-to-end delivery.
• Integrate with third-party systems, databases, and internal microservices.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
• Maintain technical documentationand contribute to architecture and design discussions.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Java (8/11/17)and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and design patterns.
• Solid understanding of SQLand relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databaseslike MongoDB or Redis is a plus.
• Experience with message brokers(Kafka, RabbitMQ) is desirable.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools(Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) and source control (Git).
• Understanding of containerizationand Docker; knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus.
• Good understanding of authentication/authorization mechanisms(OAuth2, JWT).
• Exposure to cloud platforms(AWS, GCP, or Azure) is an advantage.
• Experience in working AWS Cloud services such as ECS Fargate, DynamoDB, RDS, and Lambda.
• Experienced in any CI-CD pipelines/Jenkins.
• Database knowledge in PostgreSQL/AWS RDS or No SQL DB’s.
• Nice to have: Knowledge on Elasticsearch querying.
