Optum is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Maintaining and troubleshooting within an Intranet application consistent with established specifications and business requirements
• Provides operational analysis utilized for decision making. May make recommendations based on the analysis, and provide explanations for reporting results as needed
• Predominantly involved in steady state application management and debugging, with up to 50% of time allocated to designing, coding, testing, and deploying new features within Intranet applications
• Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements
• Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems
• Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
• Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
• Translates concepts into practice
• Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues
• Acts as a resource for others with less experience

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• .Net experience
• Javascript/Jquery/AngularJS experience
• MVC (Razor View) experience
• OOPS with C# experience
• Entity Framework/ADO.Net experience
• IIS Hosting experience
